I bought one of these Verbatim toner cartridges because I was tired of paying the high prices for the Brother TN-460 toner cartridge. It was a mistake. My printer started making funny noises that got louder and louder, until it sounded like there was plastic breaking inside the printer. I reached over and shut it off. I swapped the toner and drum assembly from another Brother printer and the noise went away. Then I put the Verbatim toner cartridge back in and the noise started again.
I might have save $20 for the toner cartridge, but I don't know how much damage was done to my printer. I am going back to buying genuine Brother toner cartridges that I have used for years and never had a problem. Was this review helpful?

looked up toner cartridge for brother MFC 9700 and your web site recommends TN-460, which I ordered. Cartridge is considerable smaller and won't fit. Checked manual, requires toner cartridge TN-430. Was this review helpful?

I've bought 4 of these over the last 2 years for my 2 Brother printers. (HL-1440 and 1280) I did have one go bad right after I started using it, but Verbatim replaced it immediately at no cost. They work GREAT. They're long lasting and the print quality is great. JP Was this review helpful?
