I was mainly looking to accelerate how quickly things would load in my Vista Ultimate SP1. I don't think that thumb drive of this size is what Microsoft had in mind, but my computer has 4GB RAM and it assigned the drive 4.08GB for ready boost. Though it doesn't make all that much difference in Boot Up time, once things are running I've been able to see a remarkable improvement in opening fresh programs, especially things like the TV tuner and Blu-Ray DVD playing programs. So far I'd say that it was well worth the experiment.
