On his solo album, V-TOWN, the Vallejo native puts it down for his home city--painting gritty portraits of V-Town on the title track and the hyped-out manifesto, "Vallejo, California." Young Dru also pays homage to his drug of choice on the weed anthem, "My Purple"; shows his sensitive side on the ghetto love song, "So Fine"; and collaborates with fellow Bay Area rappers Jay Tee and Yukmouth of Luniz.
