4 of 5 Works as advertised Tuesday, August 04, 2009 A Customer from Toledo, Ohio
Works as advertised, got data off two old IDE drives, seems fast for a USB drive. Fast delivery.
Not the greatest construction quality, the power brick sometimes goes out if you wiggle the cord, and the actual ide/sata adpater feels light-duty. But OK for the price, and for occasional use. If you intend to use an old drive regularly I suggest a full drive case and better constructed adapter, such as the Vantec NexStar 3 that I also use. Was this review helpful?

I am a computer consultant and need to be able to use all types of devices when I am working on a computer. This allows me to replace hard drives on laptops and desktops. It also allows me to test cd/dvd burners easily on another computer. Was this review helpful?
