I was inclined to purchase the replacement battery for my UPS from the manufacturer's direct sales site. Upon searching prices on the Web, I found that Buy.com had the best price. I installed the battery and have the same backup time (since it's the original replacement part). The shipping was also very reasonable, considering the weight of the battery. Buy.com did a great job at a great price on this item. But don't be fooled by your APC unit, the beeping you hear from your unit telling you to replace your bat is not based on the bat being bad but on a clock. if you hook up your APC to a computer and reset the clock, the beeping will stop. its a timed scam to cause to to buy more bats.
