This is an amazing little piece of technology. I had previously tried one of the Logitech Harmony remotes, and this is so much less of a hassle at a fraction of the price. The versatility is remarkable. It's not without some challenge if you have a complex system, but the instructions are well written, and if you think things through, you can handle a variety of scenarios. My wife was upset when I moved my old plasma into the bedroom and had to add a tuner to the mix. I have it now where she can do all sorts of tasks seemlessly, like switching the tuner and monitor over to DVD mode and turning on the DVD player all with one push of a macro button. The ability to "learn" the codes from other remotes is key, and it does it well. Buy this remote. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this remote control as a second remote for an Olevia LCD TV. It is probably the ONLY remote that works with Olevia. I was very happy to discover that it also worked with my Dish Network box and my Zenith VCR/DVD player so now I have a truly universal remote. I would recommend this universal remote to anyone.
