They work great, though the batteries don't last all that long (comes with the territory with AAA-size rechargeable cells).

I can't really find a real fault with this phone, but my older Uniden 5.8 seems to be better in quality. I guess I expected a little more from Uniden, since I love my other set. I think the display could be bigger, and could have a contrast adjustment. The ringer on the phone isn't very loud (either is my older Uniden), and they could make the menus a little easier to navigate. (More like a cell phone would be an obvious improvement)
That being said, you can't go wrong for the money. A solid little phone system. Was this review helpful?

This phone is not only stylish but it also delivers a clear and crisp sound. The message system runs well and is very easy to use. Charging the batteries was a snap and we immediately started using the system just after connecting it to the power and phone jack!
You need a phone with a great message system, you need this one!

I use the MagicJack phone system and bought this unit to use with it. It works great!! There is no interference with using the internet and this cordless phone system. Even the second handset works great and I am able to walk all over the place including going outside while on the phone. I love the ease of storing numbers and seeing who called me.
This is a great set of phones, so if you are looking, look no further. Works great with a hands free set too. Plus, free shipping -- Love that!!!!

The phone was easy to setup, but it doesn't work well with my work VPN connection. Every time when I am on VPN and make a confrence call VPN automatically disconnects. It may be my router configuration. But I was under the impression with DECT 6.0 technology the phone should work above my wirless bandwith and not have conflicts. In that sense it wa s a disappointment.
I am going to check my router config to see if that aleveates the problem. Was this review helpful?

These phones are just what the Dr. ordered for the Wi-Fi environment in my home. I was getting some slight interference between my old Panasonic and V-tech cordless phones and my 54Mhz wireless system. These phones have eliminated that entirely. Clear signal, good size, although they are a little small in physical size for my big paws. Battery life is pretty good. I don't use the answering machine so I can't comment on that. Love it so far, only been using it for about 2 weeks. Great features for the price. The only complaint is the volume adjustment should allow for higher settings and the speaker is too small would be great if it were larger, a little hard to hear when using the speaker part. Was this review helpful?

This was a great purchase. Really clear reception, no interference ever, loaded with all the right features. It even fits on our old std wall mount. The best cordless phone I've ever used. The answer phone is all good, simple to use.

What more can you ask for, I had the older 1xxx DECT series and I wished it had a backlight keyboard. Now they do, so I give my old phone to my brother. The phone works as advertised, no noise, awesome coverage. It did lack, automatic dial "9" for outside line prefix strangely removed from the new model vrs the old and I wished they were compatable but there not, your forced to buy a new base station. However, I was able to reconfigure my PBX and didn't need to have a need for "9" to get outside line.
At the end of the day, they improve phone book copy feature and intercom to contact all units, which is nice. Headset if you like that feature. There very cost effective, 30$ for a handset is not bad at all. So if one gets thrown in the toilet by your son, you wont go crying that you just lost serious cash.
Most of all, it has all the function you need, no frills, and just works solid, I have no issues! Funny I read reviews on other DECT phones and see all kinds of problems with coverage and noice, I've never had an issue with UNIDEN DECT phones, they just work! Was this review helpful?
