this scanner has great coverage , many channels you can program, it picks up signals 45 miles away clearly with the rubber duck antenna and being indoors when receiving !!!! with the arc246 software it makes this scanner very easy to program from a laptop or desktop . a great value !! great product !! I highly recommend using the computer software that you must buy to program the unit, BUT you can program the unit manually, but it takes about 50 times longer(in my opinion). Also, make no mistake this product is not easy to figure out, BUT once you do it is quite simple through the computer program, and scans very thoroughly. I use it on a EDACS Trunk System in Texas for Police, School Police, Fire & EMS, and all Airport channels, and it works more than great! Was this review helpful?
