This entry in the String Quartet Tribute series is a straight run through Maroon 5's hit debut, Songs About Jane, performed instrumentally by two violinists, a violist, and a cellist. It's not surprising that Vitamin's version is a little more sobering, given its lack of the punchy studio layers and undeniable vocal soul that made Maroon's original such a big hit. "This Love" and "Harder to Breathe" are performed capably, but not memorably. "She Will Be Loved" fares better, since its melody has a nice ascending line that suits the violins wonderfully.
