 Editor's Note
In the early 18th century, Jonathan Edwards fought adversity and overcame personal tragedy to become on of the most famed American theologians in history. Best known for his rapturous sermon entitled "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," Edwards had an indelible impact on the religious culture of America. AN UNCOMMON UNION is the minister's story as told by his loving and faithful wife, Sarah. Played with great care by Maggie Rowe, who also wrote the script, Sarah narrates the dramatic and inspirational story of her husband's life and work, leaving viewers with a three-dimensional portrait of a true icon.
