Making the choice to spend this kind of money on a set of ear buds is not easy. They cost more than most, if not all portable media players! Being involved in the high end audio industry, I wanted nothing but the best (that I could afford). The UE Triple Fi 10 came to my attention as having smooth response and accurate reproduction, particularly in the bass region. When I received them, I immediately played some well recorded (and ripped) tracks as well as some more main stream (and sadly not so well recorded) tracks...with EVERY track I played, the only word that came out of my mouth is "wow". I am in SHOCK that ear buds can sound THIS good. Spend some time trying out the various different tips to get a good, comfortable fit and sound isolation...follow the directions in the booklet that is included and you will definitely be impressed by how great these 'in ear monitors" can sound. You will find yourself converting your audio files to lossless and as high quality as you can fit on your player...I did.
