I bough these earphones to go along with my ipod and they are phenomenally better than the earphones that come with it. I can now listen to my music on loud city buses, in my class which gets pretty loud, the sound isolation plus the sound duplication quality combine so that I can properly enjoy my music without distractions. The only thing that I did not like was getting used to them initially, you need to try out all of the ear pieces to see which one works best, and you need to learn how to put them in properly, and make sure that your ears are always clean, otherwise you wont have the perfect fit. It took me about one week to get used to using them in a comfortable manner. They also stick out prominently when in your ears, so they are more noticeable which might not be a bad thing. I almost feel bad for the masses of people is see everyday with their ipod earphones.
