As a FANATIC audiophile I can tell you these earbuds are the best I've heard, and unlike many reviewers, I'm speaking about technical performance and accuracy and NOT concerned with the fashion aspect of this electronic product. Sound reproduction is extremely wide and accurate but with a noticable boost in the lower end frequencies. I find this desireable and include the information because that makes these more "fun" but less "accurate". I found them to be uncomfortable unfortunately. The hard plastic body of this earbud presses against an area of my outer ear and is painful. I'm looking for a solution for that, like some sort of foam I can add for cushioning. The part that goes into the ear canal is fine and comfortable. These earbuds sound almost identical to the Sony MDREX90 but with a touch more bass. They're clean sounding and more accurate than most other earbuds. If you're listening with an iPod brand MP3 player note that iPods are not high quality MP3 players for sound reproduction, I'd recommend upgrading to the Creative Labs Zen Stone for a high-end experience.

I have been a bit frustrated with these, until I finally found the inserts that are the right fit for my ears. Now, they not only stay in, but the clarity of the music is great with a very realistic soundstage. They are well made in every respect. You just need to use the ear pieces that give you a tight, but not an uncomfortable fit and you will enjoy a great sound experience.

Very good ear buds BUT beware of the cushions falling off. It is too bad since they are otherwise an excellent value. Several spare sets are included but I ran through them in less than six months. I was never able to find where they fell (usually in handling them while putting on or off in the gym...)

Even though these headphones come with extra inserts, they are all uncomfortable. The sound is good, but not impressive. I actually felt that the headphones that came with my iPod were more comfortable and sounded just as good.

Stayed on when I exercised. Was able to hear outside sounds which is important when I am running. Good value.

These fit my ear so good they make a "pop" coming out. Really cuts down wind noise during inline skating and send me into another world on the airplane. Good treble, bass could be better.

I ordered these earphones for use with my LG VX8100 cell phone w/MP3 player. The reviews sounded good and the price seemed a little high but I took a chance. They probably compare to the $100 Shure earphones (which I have not heard personally).<p> I listen on my way to work on the train and I wanted some sound isolation. They work pretty well in this department, though I wish it was a little better. There are 5 different sizes of rubber covers to fit your ear. The larger ones are a bit more comfortable, but the smaller ones, that fit in your ear deeper, provide more isolation. My biggest complaint is that they tend to not stay seated and slip out of my ear and I have to keep pushing them back in. I wish that rubber wasn't so smooth. This was my reason for <5 rating. They come with a nice little carrying case.<p> At first I found the quality to be adequate, but lacking in bass. I then found that this was due to the cell phone and not the earphones. When I connected them to my PC I was amazed at how much bass response I got from these little things. The highs are sweet and transparent and overall the sound quality is very good. <p> I am happy with my purchase.

These are, without a doubt, the best earbuds I have ever used. They work great in the fitness center as well as on a plane or relaxing while watching a video. I had also purchased a pair of over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones for flights, but found these work just as well (if not better) and they take up much less room when transporting. Highly recommended!

Great sound and fit. I'm especially impressed with the amount of ambient sound they block out -- way more than either the Sony or Apple in-ear phones I've owned. These would not be advisable for use on a bike or in traffic, but perfect for commuting. Build quality seems excellent, including a nice sturdy cord which is in stark contrast to the thin, fragile wires Sonys come with. The thicker cord also helps keep to a minimum the noise transmitted by contact with the user's clothing or whatever. An assortment of silicon earpieces are provided for optimum fit. My only criticism: bass seems a bit boomy and indistinct, but nothing terrible. In fact, a lot of people like heavy bass and will likely be pleased.

the sound of these phones are excellent, this is my third nice pair, and the sound, as well as the design of these are top of my list. Also they are pretty cheap in comparison to the others. Previous pairs (Sony EX90LP, Senheiser cx) They look good, cords are even lentghs, and feel well constructed. Good bass, highs are crisp, not sharp. Definitely recomend.

Although these buds are not billed as being "noise cancelling", I used them on a 5 hour flight with two chattering women that were talking non-stop on this non-stop flight. Evidently, they were addressing me several times, and after the flight asked me if I was deaf. Haven't put them to the screaming child test yet, but expect great sound and isolation. These buds have several silicone fit adapters and I was able to easily fit them. They are the most comfortable ones that I have ever used and have excellent sound with good bass response.
