5 of 5 Great value router + printe server Monday, September 24, 2007
A Customer from Kalamazoo, MI

I purchased this unit to replace a Linksys 802.11g router solely because of the built-in print server feature of the USR router. I wangted to be able to print from my main computer (an iMac) as well as two laptops we have in the house (one Mac, one WinXP). The setup for the router was very simple, including configuring security settings. The only problem I experienced with setup was difficulty configuring for remote printing. However, that is because I have a lower end HP laser printer (model 1022) which does not support this type of application. However, I was able to find some workarounds for both the PC and Macs, and all computers are able to print to the printer through the router/print server. I have experienced a few instances where the router needs to be reset to print remotely. Has only happened 2-3 times in the two months I have had the router. Not sure what the cause is, but unplugging the router solves the problem.

5 of 5 Easy to Use! Wednesday, September 20, 2006
A Customer from Idaho
I just plugged it in to our modem, plugged my husbands computer in... rebooted all and viola my husband was up and running. I'm wireless so just searched for network and did great. Last step was to plug in the printer. Actually had to read the instructions to figure out how to search/capture the printer to add it to my printers. But, all in all 30 min, no hitches, and running great 2 weeks later.

5 of 5 AMAZING ROUTER Monday, December 05, 2005
A Customer from Oxford, MS
For two i had troubles finding a reliable easy to install router. Then i tried US-Robotics and it is really the best. I tried before LinkSys and NetGear but they where nothing compared to this router. you will got the full speed u expect overl a long distance and u will have a wireless print server in the same device.

5 of 5 Great price, features, and functionality Sunday, October 23, 2005
A Customer from Kansas City Metro
I reasearched for some time comparing the different G+ routers, and decided on to try this one. I am glad I did! I am not using the matching MaxG card in my computer, but the regular Intel wireless G that my laptop came with built in. In my testing, I get a full 54 meg connection in all corners of my 2000+ square foot home with no signal degradation at all. I then took my laptop outside for a walk around the neighborhood. I was able to go about 150 feet from my house before the signal and speed started to degrade. AT over 200 feet, and literally through the lenght of my enitre house and the home next door (approximately 15+ walls, 2 made of brick, and since it was downhill, I was about 15 to 20 feet below the router's hight) my signal strength stayed at Good, and kept a 5.5 meg speed. I couldn't ask for more. Add to that the built in USB printer port, and this unit is a great deal. Check out PCWorld's review on routers from either June or July of 2005, and you too will be impressed. Bottom line? If you are looking for a good home wireless network solution full of features, them this one is for you. I would definitely buy it again.
