PRO: After a firmware upgrade it has been stable and effective. Easily has more features than my previous router, and automatically sets many of them on its own, so I don't have to.<br><br>
CON: Automatic settings - I don't have to set them, which is good, because I can't. This applies specifically to NAT, which doesn't give you control over TCP and UDP seperately, or even acknowledge that either of those exist. It's all just "ports". That isn't much in and of itself, but the entire interface is coded much more for the layman than I would like; I would prefer a bit more control to be possible. And it required a firmware upgrade to work properly ("streaming media" [re: sustained data transfer] would crash the router until upgrade).<br><br>
Basically, if you just want to have something that works when you plug it in, this is good. Great, after the firmware update. If you have a specific bunch of settings you want followed . . . maybe not so much. Was this review helpful?
