Manual was incorrect, said I needed to install memory in pairs but with a simple call to Tyan tech support solved this. I installed WinXP on this system, it didn't recognize the Audio, Network, or USB2 devices. Just used CDROM that came with the motherboard, installed the drivers and everything works great. Word to the wise, if not using the RAID option, be sure to disable it on the motherboard with a simple jumper setting. Also motherboard only supports AGP 4x video cards (1.5 volt). Lastly, if using Western Digital hard drive make sure jumper setting is correct, these drives have a jumper setting for Cable Select, Slave, Master, and Master with Slave (if you have another IDE device on same controller/ribbon). I wasted half a day on this one.
Benefits: professional motherboard, get a physical manual (not on CDROM like AOpen does) and excellent Tyan phone support. Was this review helpful?
