(from the first line) Mr. and Mrs. Haktak find a magic pot that makes a copy of everything that gets put inside it. The Haktaks are delighted until Mrs. Haktak falls into the pot, and the trouble begins . . . Annotation: Mr. Haktak is a poor but happy farmer who lives a good life with his kindhearted wife. One day, while working in his garden, Mr. Haktak digs up a large, ancient brass pot. He carries it home to his wife, but, not able to carry the pot and his purse, which contains five gold coins, he puts the purse into the pot. When he gets home, he is shocked to discover that the pot now holds two identical purses, both containing five gold coins! Once the Haktaks discover that the pot will double anything put into it, they realize that they will now be able to live a very comfortable life. However, the next day, Mrs. Haktak herself accidentally falls into the pot. How will the Haktaks deal with the arrival of a second Mrs. Haktak?
