I was pretty skeptical of these books after I had heard that it was geared toward teenagers and it was another vampire story. However, this is not the case. To me, it reminded me of the Harry Potter series in the fact that although it was geared towards children/young adults -- everyone was hooked on the stories. I received this set in the mail a couple of days before Halloween. Started the first book the night of Halloween and finished the last book (>2500 pages total) about 1-2 days later. The stories and characters were addicting. The love story poignant and the scenes were vividly described. I can't wait to see how the movie will protray everyone and I hope they make movies out of ALL the books in the series.
