Although Turbo's website says NIHH rechargeables are recommended, they do not fit. For some reason, I've tried both Eveready and Duracell NIMH and batteries will not fit in the tube. I removed the label so I have just a naked metal cylindrical tube and it fits nicely but shorts with the metal case so the on/off mechanism doesn't work. To remedy this I put a small piece of very thin wax paper in the tube, the naked battery fits and everything works great. Doesn't recharge the devices fully but works with all the devices I've tried, even my Motorola S9 which only seems to work with Motorola chargers otherwise. Didn't come with a plug for my LG 8700 phone but got a free one directly from Turbo in a couple days. Great service.
