4 of 5 second time around... Sunday, October 12, 2008 Emkay from Columbia, SC
The first set had a problem with the mouse, which would not work
properly because the battery holder compartment was misaligned.
Returned for a second unit, which worked properly until the blue LED on the transmitter died after about a week. Keyboard and mouse still work, but decided (since the initial unit was returned) not to complain, I'm just using it as is.. A pleasant surprise was the fact that the mouse' media buttons in the center, also control other players (Musicmatch Jukebox) in addition to Win.Media Player. Workable for the price...
Buy.com is to be commended for allowing the initial unit to be returned, even though I had cut the 'rebate UPC from the box (assuming it would work properly). I learned a valuable lesson which is to make sure to setup any electronic device to insure operation before altering anything. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 piece of crap Monday, September 15, 2008 A Customer from Washington DC
The mouse just died out of box. Then a few days later, the keyboard cannot be recognized by the computer. Stay away from this product. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Mouse has defect by design Monday, September 08, 2008 Buy.com shopper from PA,USA
Person from Quincy, MA has written the same experience I have. Mouse has defect by design. If you put battery inside, it won't work. If you put it half way,it will work.Really frustrating. I had returned it and asked for replacement, hope this time I will get good mouse. Otherwise keyboard and mouse nice to use. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 expensive keyboard?! Saturday, September 06, 2008 A Customer from Quincy, MA
The keyboard is nice, but the mouse is bad. If you put the battery in, the mouse is not working. If you left the battery half way in, it works, but you can not close the cover. Too bad, I cut the bar code from the box for rebate, otherwise, I'd return it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good price Friday, September 05, 2008 chienhsonkao from North Potomac, MD
This mice turns off itself when shuts down the computer for a while. It takes me few weeks to realize I need press right button to restore the power for use. The microsoft mice i have the power is always on. So I don't need to restore the power.
The keyboard has a lot buttons. The power button can only turn off my computer. I still could not figure out how to use the 'X' button that I guess it close a web page or an application. The feeling of the key stroke is not as good as the feeling from the Microsoft keyboard.
I rate it 5 because the price I bought is $19 after $10 re-bates. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great buy! Friday, September 05, 2008 A Customer from Waltham MA
The key board is feature rich and has everything that I looked for in a keyboard if not more. The mouse is good too. Not sure of the battery life yet as I used it for just a week now. Great buy for the price that was offered to me. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Storm Wireless Keyboard Monday, September 01, 2008 A Customer from St. Louis, MO
I bought this keyboard to replace another wireless keyboard that I picked up at a bargain price. That keyboard had several problems. I have been quite pleased with the Storm keyboard I just purchased. All my problems with the other keyboard have disappeared. The only thing I wish they would have put on this product is LED's indicating that Num Lock and Caps Lock are on or off. Other than that, it is well built and very easy to type on. 5 of 5 Highly recommend to anyone on a budget Monday, September 01, 2008 Hutch from Tustin, CA
I was extremely impressed right out of the box... No need to install drivers, all buttons do exactly what they say they do... My previous keyboard/mouse set were from Logitech, although Trust isnt as heavy as that set, it doesnt feel cheap either... The mouse is waaaay comfortable... I have tested many of them at Best Buy and never found one that felt right, just took a risk on this Trust one, big bonus that it fits the hand so well... The mouse is not as small as the pictures would have you believe... Only complaints are that I had to bend the metal out a bit where the battery is supposed to connect in the mouse, because it was a bit loose... and that the blue LED on the receiver isnt steady, it blinks as you type or move the mouse, which is annoying, so I just hid it behind the monitor. 5 of 5 Not bad at all!!! Monday, September 01, 2008 A Inniss from Acworth, GA
I have used this for the last few weeks. I haven't had any problems with connecting this set to my computer. The mouse deactivates when not in use - a very useful feature which saves battery life. The keyboard has a laptop feel to it. This isn't preferable for some but as a person that lives on a laptop I was looking forward to this. I also must mention the media features on both the mouse and the keyboard
I must admit - I did get it on sale. It was a great value for the money. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Woth the price you are paying...... Monday, September 01, 2008 A Customer from Frankfort, KY USA
Its good looking, easy to setup, easy to use...... just open the package plug-in and with just press of two button its ready to use... the only thing is its range, range is too short if you are planning to use it more than 5 feet and with lot of objects in the room then look for something else..........
I am using it for about a month now, I brought it mainly for my daughter(4yr) who likes to play a lot on laptop.... with this i am connecting the laptop with TV and she can using this combo to play games from little more distance than playing games on laptop itself..... Was this review helpful?
