5 of 5 Worked perfectly Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Bob from Louisville, KY
Purchased this to allow laptop users to have a 3rd monitor. Connects easily, installation was a breeze. Worked just as it said it would. And being a USB device when I change laptops or need to move it, simply unplug and reinstall th drivers. No cards or devices that won't be reused. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Perfect for Programmers and other IT Professionals Friday, December 12, 2008 ITGuy from Indianapolis, IN
Purchased to use at work on my DELL SFF PC. Current PC had no multiple display capability with hardware it came with. Bought this to extend my desktop. Very easy to setup. You will get multiple "did not pass Windows certification" messages. Click install anyways each time and you will be fine. Set up in minutes and now enjoying the benefits of dual monitors. Has capability to add up to 6 monitors w/ more adapters... wow... Was this review helpful?

After the easy to follow instructions for installation, I had the second monitor up and running in no time. Having some difficulty with the second screen locking up and not responding. After viewing the on line web site for Tritton, I learned that the latest firmware does have a known bug for this problem and they will be providing an update to the firmware soon. In the mean time they suggested using the legacy firmware which is available in a download. This product provides a great alternative to a dual display video card. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent value for adding a third monitor Thursday, November 29, 2007 Kevin from Dallas, TX
I have a Dell laptop and docking station with an external monitor. With several applications open all the time, this device works great to get a second external monitor running.
1280x1024 on a 19" monitor with a good picture. Its not perfect for intense graphics use, but for office use, it is invaluable.
Four coworkers have bought this unit after seeing my setup, and all enjoy the extra desktop space. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Does Higher Resolutions Good. Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from IL
I was looked for an adapter that would run wide screen resolutions for LCD TV's. This was the only one that said it could do 1600x1200 and wide screen. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Wish computer technology could all be this simple Tuesday, October 02, 2007 A Customer from Dillon, Montana
The Tritton SEE2 worked as advertised. I installed the included software, plugged in my second monitor to the device, and plugged it into the USB port. It automatically found everything and worked smoothly on XP and older Windows 2000 machines. Did have one machine that would not hook up, so make sure you have Enhanced USB 2.0 controllers. This older machine didn't and it was a complicated process to try to update the controllers. The tech support line tried to help and were friendly in the process. If you need multiple monitors, don't spend $300 or more for a complicated card that you have to install in your machine. Instead, go for the affordible plug and play option of the Tritton SEE2. Good poduct. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Yeah, buy it. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Steve Steiner from Largo, FL
I am a programmer and sit in front of a PC all day. Last year I went to a dual monitor setup which I love so much that I decided to buy a third monitor. After much research, I found installing a third monitor can be more technically difficult than adding a second monitor. Instead of messing around with video cards, I purchased this USB/VGA adapter, plugged it in, and it has worked great. I use a resolution higher than 1024x768 and the response on the USB monitor can be a touch slow on graphic intense applications. I usually put my email or some other low graphic application on the USB monitor and it works just fine. If you use 1024x768 or lower, you won't notice a slow response. For the price and easy of installation, I would recommend this product.

5 of 5 Great for docked laptop Monday, May 28, 2007 A Customer from Los Angeles, CA
I put my laptop to the docking station, and with this USB device, I am able to use 2 LCD displays. The software driver works great with a icon on the bottom right task bar that allows you to switch resolution, color depth and even enable/disable dual display easily. But you should expect slower display speed than regular a video card. The color depth can be up to 16 bit only. Overall, this is a great product for those who want to add a second display easily using USB port. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 A good alternative Wednesday, March 07, 2007 Phil (phil from Buffalo, NY
Make no mistake... an external video adapter is clearly a "step down" from an internal card (I'm a computer technician and won't bore you with the technical details, but an internal card running off the PC bus with dedicated video RAM is going to work better). However, this is a great alternative for people who want to add a 2nd monitor without taking their computer apart. At 1024 line resolution the performance is good (it decreases at higher resolutions). I've sold several of these units to my customers and they are all quite pleased. Was this review helpful?

Great product. The SEE2USB2.0 came out of the box and performed up to specifications. It interfaces with XP seamlessly. The laptop easily transitions between operation using the SEE2 to support an extended desktop on two different monitors, including a touch screen, and operation with just the primary laptop screen when traveling. The SEE2 is a 5+. Was this review helpful?
