Easy to use, small and compact (size of a large bagel). Just what I was looking for, for my laptop. We watch a ton of movies online through netflix and the volume on my computer is really low this works great and allows us to hear perfectly even on the lowest setting. All I have to do is plug it in no software needed and speaker volume works with computer volume control. Only thing I wish is that it was black or silver and not white but that doesn't even matter. I wanted speakers that i could take with me while traveling and after reading all the reviews decided on the Tritton's. I am very pleased, and the co-workers who I showed them to were impressed as well. Great sound, good volume and easy to pack. Whats not to like? Was this review helpful?

I bought this after seeing a colleague use one for a presentation at a conference. During my presentation, there was a problem connecting my laptop to the conference center's audio. I think this is the ideal solution so I can always be sure my audio will work. It's compact enough to carry in my laptop case when I travel.
I also have it set up on my desk, replacing two larger speakers, and the sound is quite good. My only complaint is that it doesn't have its own volume control. When my Mac is at its lowest volume, the speaker is still pretty loud. Was this review helpful?

When replacing an old tower/desktop PC with a large-screen laptop, I also wanted to replace my two small desktop speakers and floor subwoofer. I was looking for USB-powered speakers (to also get rid of the extra power cord and plug of the previous speakers) and decided to try this one rather than a set of two desktop speakers. The device is extremely easy to use and sound is surprisingly good for the small package. And the price is right! Was this review helpful?

I use an Apple MacBook and this gadget works great. The Sound Bite amplifies and broadens my computer's audio and does so with minimal cables and folds up nice and small. The sound is very full and aids in rocking out.
Negatives:
-As said before, the audio distorts a little when its too high...but no big deal.
-The included program or driver or whatever is not compatible with Mac (the tiny CD doesn't even fit into the drive). It claims to mimic a surround sound situation...but I doubt it, given how close all the speakers are. But it would be cool to mess with...maybe a Mac version will become available.
-Lastly, and as said before, you may have to go into AUDIO in your System Preferences to switch over to the Sound Bite from the internal speakers. Not really a negative...but good to be aware of.
