The headset is great. I use it for COD4 on the xbox 360. The sound is incredible. The surround sound is unbelievable. the only problem i have with it is the microphone jack from the controller to the headset sometimes cuts in and out. other than that it is absolutely amazing. This headset is amazing. It clearly owns any Turtle beach right out of the water. Why? It has surround sound with the digital optical cable. Its even better than those MLG Astros. If your a Call of duty player like myself on gamebattles, user name is CrAzYsHoT99, trittons is the way to go. They go louder than Astros and have TRUE dolby 5.1 surround sound unlike astros. Astros are more for a GoW or Halo player and are better for local tournaments. But still Trittons are amazing, comfortable, affordable, and they are easy to set up I use them on my PS3 and Xbox 360 easy set up! Was this review helpful?

I'm glad it works for ps3 and xbox360 since I have both. Not blown away, but I'm hard to please. I wish they were 50.00, but it is a quality product and you get what you pay for. Within a week, the wire between my xbox 360 controller and my headset started disconnecting constantly. I've owned it for a month now, and still I have trouble with it disconnecting and making loud popping noises. Also, the detachable mic was a bad idea... It obviously wasn't made to be rotating constantly, because I have been constantly moving it because I cannot bend it toward my mouth and one day, the inside part snapped off so now the mic is barely hanging in there. The mixamp has a lot of wires running through it, but I guess it's unavoidable. The sound quality is beautiful, and overall everything else with the headset is amazing. Was this review helpful?

I had Turtle Beach headsets (X4), then they broke, and after I got these I wondered why I chose Turtle Beach to begin with. I noticed better quality and placement of all EIGHT speakers. I am glad I bought these...
Its funny how I paid $160 for this and they are better than the $200 Turtle Beach headsets. I recommend this to everyone, whether you use it for gaming, movies, big football games, iPods, or whatever. It is definately worth it. Was this review helpful?

I bought this headset for my PS3 and boy was I impressed. It delivers everything I asked of it. Noise-Cancelation, TV-Sound and mic input/output at the same time, Comfortable and adjustable sound level control. This is the greatest buy in my life. Now I play shooters, like COD4 and MGO and the Tritton AXPRO helps me immensely. I recommend this product to anyone no matter what game console they own(ps3,ps2,360 or PC). Was this review helpful?
