I bought a SU700NET UPS at a surplus sale for $0.25 but it was dead. I was hoping that this normally priced $250 - $3--+ UPS for small businesses, would work after I got it home. No dice. I was deciding between this (Tipp Lite) lower costing battery twin for my UPS and the APC version which was about ten dollars more. Well $$ won out simply because I didn't even know if the thing worked, I wanted to spend as little as possible in case it the UPS was broken. Was I ever happy with what I got. This thing comes nearly fully charged, but with a UPS you should ASSUME it is not charged, and the hope is that you never need it to kick onto battery back-up power. But if it does, this thing is powerfull. I tested it two differnt times under full load and everything worked without a hitch! I have no problem RECOMMENDING THIS ONE OVER THE APC - OEM due to price. Running since before X-mas time (4 months now)!
