Used the inverter to run our laptop on our trip to DC. Wife did her tasks and the kids watched a DVD as well. No issues. Love the long 4ft cord so the unit can hide under the driver's seat out of the way in case it gets hot or stepped on. Has a ON/OFF switch which is a must. Dual plugs is a plus. Could not hear any noise from the unit while driving when under the seat. Only had it a short time on this one trip but it was EXCELLENT! Worth the extra bit of money for all the features the inverter provides. Was this review helpful?

worked almost too well, didn't hear a peep from the teenagers in the rear of the car for the whole trip from DE to VT while they played video games and used the laptop. Do caution users though the case does get very warm so don't touch it immediately after prolonged use. Was this review helpful?

If you are looking for remote power for your laptop, charging phones etc, this is the unit to get. I recently purchased this unit to power my laptop on the road and it works well for that purpose. I have read that the unit will get warm to the touch during use - however I did not experience that over a 5 hour period of running. The only con I can think of is that the cooling fan has a high pitch noise. This was somewhat noticeable with the unit located in the front seat, but moving it to the back seat made it a bit more tolerable. Was this review helpful?

We love being able to plug in anything we want while on trips. The voltage and frequency are spot on. Performance gets 4/5 for slight fan noise: not noticeable at highway speeds and better if the unit is under the seat. Unit has never even gotten warm. Very satisfied. Was this review helpful?
