I received the package today. I setup the Triplite Peripheral sharing switch in 5 mins flat. It took me longer to get the device out of the hard plastic sealed packaging than to set it up. I setup my two desktops to share a USB printer. Connect the computers to the switch and then connect the printer to the port on the side. Install the software (pretty lite piece of code)in each of the computers and I was ready to go. An icon shows up on the taskbar. Hitting CTRL-F11 will activate the device for the printer and that is it. The icon is color coded to show if it is active or not for the computer. One of my computers is XP Pro the other is Vista Home Premium.

My wife and I were struggling using a shared printer on the network. Rather than connecting it to the server (on the other side of the house) I decided to try this device. It is truly wonderful. We can change which PC has control over from an icon in the System Tray. So far it has worked perfectly and was a simple 2 minute install. Was this review helpful?

Works as advertised. The included software needs to be installed on all the computers you wish to use the switch on. On taskbar, right click to switch or manually do so on the box.
