5 of 5 inexpensive, simple to set up and use Monday, July 14, 2008 Mike from FtLd, FL
Setup was as easy as 1-2-3, can be controlled either via a toggle button or a hot key on a computer keyboard. Use with 1440x900 widescreen display under Vista Enterprise. Good product so far, hope it will stay that way. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great KVM for the price Thursday, July 14, 2005 DM from Phoenix, AZ
I was surprised at how well this switch handles high-frequency, high-res display signals. I run 1280x1024 at 75Hz, and this switch handles it flawlessly. The only problem I have with this unit is probably true of all of them - I wish it could handle a USB mouse connection. Unbeatable at the price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nifty little KVM switch Wednesday, October 06, 2004 A Customer from Seattle, WA
At first I was not very sure about this small KVM switch, imagining that, because of its low price, it may have the annoying issues of other "cheap" electronic products... I could not be further from the true nature of this GREAT little KVM switch!!
Not only does it perform PERFECTLY WELL, has no issues whatsoever with high-res, high-frequency display (which was my major concern), but also switches WAY faster than many more expensive KVM switches!
I used this switch for approx. 1 year, NEVER had a problem with it. Recently I had to buy a 4-port switch, from a different manufacturer, because I have 3 computers now, and all I can say is that, even though the new switch costed a LOT more, the overall performance is WAY lower. I have all sorts of issues that I NEVER had with this little KVM switch.
My only complaint is the positioning of the connectors: once you have everything connected to it, it is very difficult to place (like a 4-legged spider). But honestly, I have yet to see a KVM switch were you do not have a MESS of cables around it...
One way or the other: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It's worth every penny. Thursday, September 16, 2004 Ian Gian from Edmond, OK
I use both of my desktops very often for different purposes. I used to plug and unplug the cables every time I switched the desktops. With this little device, I am able to hookup both of my desktops with one mouse, one keyboard, and one monitor. It save me tons of time and energy. Was this review helpful?

The only bad thing about this is that if you have the switch on computer A and boot computer B, (or visa-versa), sometimes the the freshly-booted computer's mouse and/or keyboard don't work. Similarly, if the one computer goes into standby while the switch is focused on the other, you may have to reboot the computer (via the power switch) before it will respond again. Other than that, this is a nice KVM. I like the short cut --> scroll lock-scroll lock-up/down. I have another KVM that has you press ctrl twice to switch and I have found that some games require the use of one or both ctrl buttons, so the KVM confilcts with those games. However, I have NEVER used my scroll lock button other than with this switch's short cut. Was this review helpful?
