I called the maker of this modem directly and asked before I bought it to make sure it was 100% TAPI compliant and they assured me it was. It isnt. So I wasted my money.

I purchased Trendnet's fax modem card and installed it. My purpose in getting it was to be able to send documents via FAX. The FAX fails on a com port issue. I called and spoke to Trendnet's tech support. They spent a fair amount of time with me doing all the obvious things...we checked device manager, made sure we had the latest drivers, etc. After several hours of this Trendnet's tech support simply gave up. They couldn't find a solution to the com port problem. The problem still occurs today and I have not sent a single FAX through the Trendnet fax-modem. I spent my money on a product that doesn't perform at all. Trendnet's tech support gave up on finding a solution. Need I say more?
