Great GbE Switch! It satisfies 2 impartment requirements I need the most: reliable and power saving. It has been up and running continuously for more than 1 month. I have 4 Gigabit connections from various rooms and one 100M uplink to the router for my home networking. No drop, no link issue that I noticed. Among those 4 Gigabit connections I got about 3-5 times faster than 100M based one during heavy load, not a fancy outcome comparing to those enterprise solutions, but good enough for home media networking. In the mean time, it is running cool and consuming less power comparing to regular GbE switches thanks to its GREENnet technology. I’ve never felt warm from its metal box, granted that it is installed in the basement, a relatively cool place of the house. Overall it is good for the price and works as advertised. One of the happy purchase of mine.

Purchased two of these for my home network. One by the router and the other by the Mulimedia center for PC, Dishnetwork, BluRay etc. They work great just as advertised. Highly recommend these switches.

Purchased this 8-Port Gigabit to expand my network. Setup was a snap, just connect devices and power and you are done, it took longer to unpack it. Works very well with Linksys gigabit router. Works very well even with network security camera connected beyond 100' away! Highly recommended.

Upon receiving my new TrendNet switch, setup was practically error proof. If you know anything about ethernet, cabling, and switches, you'll have no problem. Despite the "green" labeling, I'm not sure how much it really means. I've got 4 devices plugged into the switch, and I show link connections to all four, even when only one or two are turned on. The switch works great, just not sure how much the "green" really is buying me, but regardless the switch performs great, and was a breeze to set up!

WOW!!! Ordered 2 of these just yesterday, and already here today. Less than 24 hours shipping?!! Insane. And pretty awesome. Haven't used them yet, as they were just delivered, but based on universal reviews, i should have no issues with their performance. Buy.com is THE place to order on-line.
