I'm very happy with this switch for the price. If you want to use this on an existing network with an internet connection, keep in mind you'll still need a router to receive the internet connection and do the DHCP (IP address) assignment. Therefore, one of the ports on the switch will be taken just for receiving the router connection, leaving you with 4 (or 7 on the 8 port model).

So far this switch is working fine. If the rebate comes through the price will be great (rather then just good). I like the fact that the casing is metal rather then the cheap plastic that most products in this price range use.

All ports autoadjust, no need for crossover cables. Adjusts with ease to autonegotiate speeds, displays them with LEDS, supports jumbo frames...it does everything well and fast. Excellent bargain.

Works great. Don't have to be a techy to use it, just pug in the network cables and plug in the power supply. Wish it was a little smaller in size so I can fit in my laptop carrying bag and take it with me when visiting customer sites. Over all A+
