This product works great. The only problem I have with it is the design. I couldn't get the cap off, it is very tight - took me about 5 minutes. The one I received is slightly different from the picture. There are ridges on the side - I guess it's there so you have a grip while taking the cap off. There is no need to install the software. Package also includes a 6in. USB extension cable. Was this review helpful?

This Bluetooth adapter seems to work quite well. My Motorola V195 seems to have a good data transfer rate, and my Motorola H700 earpiece can be used as a microphone for the speech recognition software I have.
The only real negative is that it is missing a loop to attach a lanyard to, like my flash drive. Because of the adapter's small size, it looks like something I'm likely to misplace (lose). I would have preferred some feature like my flash drive, where I could keep it on the same lanyard my flash drive is on. Otherwise, not a bad buy for $20. Was this review helpful?

I've used this product so far with a Motorola V3 RAZR, Sony Ericsson W810i, LG CU500 and a Cingular 8125. This by no means is meant to be a replacement for OEM software, but it is an excellent interface for a quick swap of files, downloads of pictures or videos from the phone or a means to upload ringtones. I'm sure there's much more to be done with this little gem, I just haven't had time to investigate them all! :) Was this review helpful?

I was able to plug in the device and immediately transfer files. After testing this approach, I installed the driver for it and even more flexibility was available. The drivers that come with this adapter were not compatible with the software that came with my cell phone. Although nokia's website specifically said that it supported the bluetooth stack software from this company, it refused to work. I am not sure if this is nokia's fault or TRENDnet's. The problem can be fixed by uninstalling the provided drivers and using the default microsoft drivers. Was this review helpful?

Been using this for over 3 months now and it works great with my HP laptop and my Nokia 6230 to transfer files/music. It also works well with my Cardo Scala 500 headset and even lets me listen to music (mono, but better than nothing). Was this review helpful?
