3 of 5 Works fine, but very awkward to set up. Saturday, May 17, 2008 Mark Rinfret from Portsmouth, RI
I bought this enclosure to have a means to make a variety of IDE drives (and eventually SATA drives) quickly and temporarily available to my systems via USB 2.0. Unfortunately, this box was not engineered to be "finger friendly". Mounting a drive in the enclosure can be a frustrating experience. I had to resort to using needlenose pliers to hold the internal mounting screws in place while I screwed them down. I didn't run any performance tests or try the SATA interface (yet), but the unit otherwise works fine. So, while it didn't satisfy my primary criteria (easy drive swapping), it's a satisfactory product. Was this review helpful?
