5 of 5 Works like a champ! Monday, February 18, 2008

Works well, as advertised. Now have 2 PCs (2 WinXP, 1 Vista) sharing the same laser printer withOUT needing to have my PC on all the time. Incredibly small unit . . . was surprised. Sits unobtrusively under my computer desk. Did not need to use the utility which came with the unit; simply installed the printer using the IP address my router statically assigns to the unit.

When I was looking for a print server for my brother MFC I saw this one and ordered it because of the price. I did not expect it to be such an excellent product. It was easy to install and has worked flawlessly. Documentation is good and there was no need for a techno neophyte like myself o call customer service for help. Would highly recommend this product if you need an affordable and exceptional print server!

1 of 5 What a waste! Friday, August 17, 2007

The hardware looks cool, but that's about it. I loaded up the software and attempted to configure the print server, but I could not get past the login/password. Apparently the software on the CD they delivered was corrupted. I tried this on 2 different computers and it didn't work. I even reinitiated the print server to no avail. Needless to say I have returned the item. I purchased an equivalent D-Link print server (DP-301U) and had it running on all 3 of my computers in 30 minutes with no problems.
