| | Professional Reviews | Los Angeles Times "Along with Statham's sterling presence, what makes TRANSPORTER 2 so much fun are car stunt designer Michel Julienne and martial arts choreographer Hong Kong legend Cory Yuen, who's been on both sides of the camera as star, director, writer, producer and stunt man." 09/02/2005 p.E4James Berardinelli's ReelViews 6 of 10 I don't have a lot to say about Transporter 2. It's a sequel that outdoes the original in terms of flair and outrageousness, but it will appeal to much the same audience. If James Bond is too tame for you, Frank Martin (Jason Stratham) is your man. This guy is so suave, he keeps an extra suit in his trunk in case he gets blood on his current one. His adventures are lifted directly from the pages of comic book, with little consideration for prohibitions imparted by the laws of physics. Like logic, that sort of thing doesn't apply here. Transporter 2 delights in placing the main character in precarious situations, then having him use the most unlikely (not to mention unbelievable) methods to escape. - James Berardinelli San Francisco Examiner 7 of 10 Blessedly, Transporter 2 very simply copies the formula that worked the first time. It's a lean, perfectly paced, unpretentious good time; it's what popcorn movies ought to be. - Jeffrey M. Anderson Chicago Sun-Times 7 of 10 Transporter 2 is better for a number of reasons, one of them that is has an ingenious plot that continues to reveal surprises and complications well into the third act; this is not simply a movie where the good guy chases the bad guys, but a movie where the story turns a lot trickier than we expected. - Roger Ebert
