Album Notes and Credits

Notes & Personnel Info
Steve Jablonsky's dynamic score to the 2007 big-budget, big-screen version of the TRANSFORMERS cartoon show (and classic toy line), proved so appealing to fans of the film that an online petition was actually put into place to push for release of a CD version of the music. The voice of TRANSFORMER Nation was apparently heard loud and clear, and a CD was released in due time. Featuring a bold mix of electronic music and more traditional orchestral pieces, the score strikes a nice balance between the film's sci-fi bombast and its more terrestrial concerns.

5 of 5 Extraordinary & a must have! Saturday, December 15, 2007
grayman77 from Miami, Florida

Everything about this album is extraordinary. I don't buy many scores & this is my first from Steve Jablonsky, but it is simply something that I could not pass up. From the moment I heard it while viewing the film, I knew that I wanted it. Once I received it, it exceeded my expectations. I really believe that this blockbuster film would not have been as big a blockbuster, if it did not have Steve Jablonsky's score. There are no throw away pieces as you often find in other scores. You can simply put it into your player and sit back and enjoy. From relaxing, to comical to excilerating, this album conveys a wide range of emotions and fits almost any mood. The packaging alone is worth the price with some of the best stills of the movie & of the production of the movie ever seen. I cannot recommend this enough.

5 of 5 Great Soundtrack for a great movie! Wednesday, December 12, 2007
A Listener from Sacramento, CA.
Since the movie was relesed I have been looking for the score for this movie. Now that it has been relesed I could not wait until I got my hand on this masterpiece of sound. My favorite is "Arrival to Earth". This is the perfect accompanyment to th a great scene. Followed by Autobots and Optimus. I think my kids find it weird that I listen to this as driving music. If you are a fan you DO NOT want to be without this period!
