Ten years after the epic Unicron battles, the Autobots and leaderless Decepticons have formed an uneasy alliance. When Energon - the rare and potent substance over which the Transformers have fought for eons - is discovered on Earth, mysterious forces return to control the Energon at any cost. Only an elite team of Autobots, the heroic "robots in disguise," can save the planet from total destruction.

Cybertron City
The mysterious Terrorcons have been sent out to capture Energon, and are now attacking Cybertron City on Earth. Optimus Prime and his fellow Autobots rush to defend the planet against this new and disturbing threat!

Energon Stars
The Terrorcon threat leaves Optimus no choice but to evacuate all the human residents of Earth's CyberCity. After a series of skirmishes on the satellite base on the Moon, the Terrorcons flee into a wormhole. The battle leaves the Autobot heroes battered and Optimus still wondering who this enemy really is!

Scorponok
A new enemy has arrived on the scene - the devious Scorponok. He revives Tidal Wave and convinces him to attack Desert City, where the Transformers are mining copious amounts of Energon.

Megatron's Sword
When Scorponok is ordered to attack Earth, the Autobots are soon overcome both by the Terrorcons and the power of Scorponok's Star Saber. The Autobots look to the Omnicons to give them the advantage in this dangerous time.

Editor's Note

Picking up where the TRANSFORMERS: ARMADA series left off, TRANSFORMERS: ENERGON continues to chronicle the saga of the mutating robots and their epic battles over the fate of mankind. This series follows the heroic Optimus Prime and his legion of Autobots and Omnicons as they struggle to defeat the villainous Alpha Q, his Decepticon minion Scorponok, a new breed of Transformers known as Terrorcons, and the return of the deadly Megatron. This volume includes the first four episodes of the animated television series.
