They should put this one in the scriptures! This book lives up to its title. Transcendent Bread is exactly that-one fine piece of writing that draws one in to an extraordinary realm of elevated prose and poetry. I found it hard to believe that there actually is a work like this out there today,and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in religious literature. Was this review helpful?

Transcendent Bread is a wonderful book; deep and inspirational, it is a work that is right for the times. Its apocalyptic theme is on the mark, and its prose and poetry flow. It also borders on Biblical mysticism, and the author's incredible claim of an appearance of what he and his "followers" believed to be the face of Jesus, made me somewhat incredulous at first, but as I read it through, the writing, message, and steadfast faith of the writer made me a believer too. Yes, truth can be transcendent in the right hands, and I recommend this book to anyone interested in religion, apocalyptic scripture, or these uncertain times in which we live.
