I bought this for my 4 year old son's birthday. It plays DVDs well, I haven't tried any divx format yet. The battery last long and that's a good thing when you carry it for trips! The unit looks great and has a swivel screen so you can turn it around. The only thing I did not like but not a big deal - the battery would not charge while the unit is ON. Good product overall, value for money !
