You are supposed to be able to force 720p or 1080i out of this, i have yet to figure it out. The 420p out of the hdmi cable is awesome though! pushing that into my goVideo 32" LCD HDTV. Other then that, it is very clean and stylish. Absolutely silent when playing movies unlike some other players i have had in the past. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice dvd player to compliment your HD ready TV!
