5 of 5 Great Dock! Thursday, June 11, 2009 A Customer from Austin, TX
I did my homework, and this docking station does everything it advertises. It was easy to install on Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and it works flawlessly as the bridge for extending my desktop over a dual monitor setup (the laptop's screen and my external 22' montior). I don't do any gaming so I wasn't able to push the graphics, yet this isn't what I purchased the dock for. I also use it for an external harddrive, keyboard, mouse, speakers, and a printer. Very pleased with the purchase, and ANTOnline shipped it quickly! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great deal, a few hiccups Thursday, March 26, 2009 Lisa from Atlanta, GA
The Dynadock has been great. I use it to swap my design laptop for the one that has my dissertation and presentations. My only complaints are that you can't dock while the laptop is already on, and sometimes you have to reset the main screen several times, possibly related to the issue of needing to cold start to use the dock. Remember to UN-dock (eject) the laptop before disconnecting. Otherwise - I love it!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 This is the one I've been looking for! Wednesday, January 28, 2009 A Customer from McArthur, Ohio
I'd been looking for a generic docking for a long time. Most handled peripherials other the the monitor. This one does it all with a single USB connection. When I leave, I undock (push a button and remove the USB cable); when I get back, I dock (plug in the USB cable). I set my computer to "do nothing" (not sleep or hibernate) when the screen is closed so all works with the top down. The only problem is that I have two operating systems and the externals aren't active until the computer is fully booted. I have to select the OS with the computer's keyboard when booting. But now, I rarely have to boot. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Toshiba Dynadock Saturday, December 27, 2008 Patty from Albuquerque, NM
I am not very proficient in the computer world, but I had no problem setting up my Dynadock. Now, all I have is the one USB that I plug into my laptop and that's it. It wasn't difficult at all. I was a little leary since I had read reviews where others were having difficulity with Windows Vista, but I had no problem with my Windows Vista software and the Dynadock software. Loaded as instructed and away I went. Was this review helpful?
