My new recorder failed to read disks after about three weeks. I phoned Toshiba and they asked me to make a few tests to be sure that I was not just having problems with the media. Nothing would read so I was sent a prepaid label to return the unit. In a short time, I was sent a new unit which is working fine. I like the recorder very much and I am very impressed with the courtesy and service from Toshiba.
