The 52" 52HMX94 is part of Toshiba's acclaimed Cinema Series line. It not only delivers an extraordinary picture, but is one of the few DLP (Digital Light Processing) big-screens with built-in reception capability for both over-the-air and cable HD programming. (For digital cable reception, you'll need to get a CableCARD from your local service provider.) The 52HMX94 uses a proprietary system called TALEN (Toshiba Advanced Light Engine). It's based on Texas Instruments' HD2+ one of their most advanced DLP chips.
