I am very happy with my tv, but if I would of paid more, I would be disappointed. It is great unless you don't or can't get high Def. tv in your area,,then the picture appears blurred, and not a sharp as our smaller 32 inch tv. So unless you plan on having high def..i would recommend staying with a smaller tv.

If you're searching for a big screen plasma, this Toshiba is a great choice. We're had it since Black Friday (got a great deal) and are still smiling. We're watching Sunday night football in HD and all I can say is WOW. This television got good marks on cnet and others have also said it was a good quality set. Beautiful cabinet (prefer the black with silver trim to the all silver) and it is just the perfect size for our family room. We didn't want the t.v. to overwhelm the room. Placing it over the fireplace is our plan. You will be glad you selected this one. Plasma is the best I've read for HD televisions 42 inches and larger. The prices finally got reasonable.
