5 of 5 Review of Toshiba 320 GB Hard drive Tuesday, March 31, 2009 Bishnu Atal from Mukilteo, WA
This is an excellent drive. This is my first purchase of a Toshiba drive. I am using this drive for backups on a Linux system installed on IBM T43 Thinkpad. I have used many other hard drives, such as the ones from Seagate, Iomega and Western Digital. The Toshiba drive compares favorably with others. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great little drive--quick ship Wednesday, March 25, 2009 Terry from Live Oak, TX
I got this to replace a DDS tape drive and I love it... I use it at work as well... It goes anywhere, is cable-powered, and is faster than the WD's... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Toshiba external HD Wednesday, March 18, 2009 Mark Thomas from Edmond Ok
This is a really nice product. Looks good and performs great. No complaints what so ever. Except... A week later I could have bought a 500 GB for the same money. Oh well that is the way it always goes when it comes down to IT stuff. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great disk for a great price Wednesday, March 18, 2009 A Customer from Atlanta
I used it for my Solaris machine at work; put an UFS file system on it and it works like a charm. It replaces a Fantom drive that crashed. I found that hot-pluggable drives are more reliable with Solaris; I lost the whole file system on a wall-powered external drive a few times with Solaris; and it never happens with a USB-powered external drive. That's why I upgraded the dead Fanton with an USB powered drive when the price was so attractive. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Backup Solution Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Pete from Pennsylvania
Toshiba 320GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive and the included NTI Shadow software make a great backup solution. Using a scheduled backup and rotating the drives, backup is set-it and forget-it. Was this review helpful?

I'm so happy with my Toshiba external hard drive. It's small, it's light and it's 320GB's! It fits in my pocketbook and I can carry around all my photo, music, movie library with me! Just perfect! Was this review helpful?

As mentioned in the headline above, its probably the lightest harddrive I have..event though my other harddrives have less space on it. Cool Design doesn't hurt either..feels kind of like an ipod like plastic. Only downside is it takes a little bit for the device to get recognized by a computer..but still very good because it only uses 1 usb plug. (iomega's harddrives uses 2 so i had to return it) Was this review helpful?
