2 of 5 2nd Toshiba Player to die Tuesday, February 26, 2008 A Customer from Nashville, TN
I received this player as a warranty replacment for a previous upconverting player that was malfunctioning. This unit lasted me for a month before it began refusing to read discs. Warranty period is now expired and this dvd player is ready to be recycled. Don't bother. Looks great when it works, but doesn't last long. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Skips a lot, HDMI cord not included Thursday, November 29, 2007 A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
So I bought this for the HDMI up-conversion, and the cord was not included, so I had to spend an extra $12 to get the right cord and wait another week before I could start fully using this machine. Now that I can, every single movie or TV show I've played has skipped at least once. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Great! Tuesday, September 25, 2007 A Customer from Phoenix, AZ
This is a great DVD player. It has 3 seperate resolutions. You have the option of playing your DVD in 480p 720p or upconverting to 1080i. It works great and a good price. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Pretty good, but... Saturday, June 02, 2007 Andy S. from New Hyde Park, NY
This unit works just fine. However, I have other (non-HD) DVD players that have some more feature that I would have liked to see. In particular, if you stop watching a DVD before the end of the film, this player doesn't "remember" the point at which you stopped (which two other I've purchased within the last year do), and that is a little inconvenient, but not a killer. Other than that, the picture quality is excellent, and this is a good value for the price. Was this review helpful?
