I have not yet got the screen to work properly in my DS; may be due to the fact that the DS was dropped on the floor by a family member and the case cracked causing unknown damage to the motherboard. The replacement screen, while being just slightly scratched, does light up when the unit is powered on but all I get is a white screen. I got the same thing from the screen I replaced before its data cable ripped.
