 Editor's Note
A popular sitcom from the early 1980s, TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT marked the comeback of THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW's Ted Knight. The curmudgeonly actor starred as Henry Rush, a conservative children's cartoonist married to freelance photographer and former big-band singer Muriel (Nancy Dussault). The couple had two college-age daughters, sensible brunette Jackie (Deborah Van Valkenburgh) and sexy blonde Sara (Lydia Cornell), who, in an effort to assert their independence, moved into the downstairs apartment of their parents' San Francisco duplex, allowing for plenty of generation-gap misunderstandings and THREE'S COMPANY-style shenanigans. This collection presents every episode of the wacky series' debut season.
