I bought the Tom Tom 130 s as my first GPS, and I love it. I think I will be buying another for my girlfriend, can't beat it at that price !

This product is all that I hoped it would be. Very easy to use. The maps seem very current. I like the ease of adjusting the volume. Was a little disapointed that only one of the 4 different voices gives the street names, but one is enough. I am very satisfied.

Bought the refurb from buy.com. I spent awhile reading reviews of GPS units and came to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a perfect brand/product, they all have their negatives. But, for this price with text to speech, it's great. I like being able to download voices and map schemes online and if you occasionally plug into computer and update the hotfixGPS, it finds satellites in like 5 seconds. Routing for the most part seems as good as or better than other brands I've used. I would definitely recommend this unit. I also like the mounting system, I can actually mount it above my rear view mirror, which I really like because it's then somewhat hidden by the tinted part of the windshield, can barely see it from outside vehicle if you just unplug power cord. I signed up for the 1 year update service for $40 and have up to date maps now, as the map that came on it was about a year old. Hopefully it lasts a long time, I really enjoy it.

Bought this as refurbished unit from Buy.com. Works fine. Works as well as my wife's much-more-expensive Garmin unit. Beware that the One 130 unit may sell for $20 less, but it's the 130s that speaks street names.

The speaker is a bit tinny, but overall the unit performs fine. The mount really is very easy to use, and the built in maps seem relatively up to date. A few glitches around my neighborhood, but all maps get that wrong. Really an excellent value.

I had been looking at GPS for quite a while (I travel out of town for per diem work in hospitals). My husband bought me a Tom Tom one 130 for Christmas. this is very easy to use, the voice is clearly heard. the maps are incredibly accurate. I will NEVER be lost again. A great item for those who don't need something extra fancy, and that will get you where you're going. It is anything I will need in a GPS.
