Julie and Sarah Thompson are heading for Grandma's house, even though the don't have her address -- or even permission to cross the street without a grown-up! Twins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen of Full House portray the Thompsons in this engaging Christmas odyssey. The girls hit the road by stowing away in a delivery truck driven by Eddie (J. Eddie Peck), a kindly man who patterns his life after Roy Rogers. The pint-sized pair think they're giving their overworked single mom (Cynthia Geary) a special present: a vacation from the stress of parenting. Instead, they give themselves, their mom and Eddie the most incredible holiday adventure ever. Get in the Yuletide spirit as Julie and Sarah spark a madcap romp involving two lighthearted crooks (Rhea Pearlman and Jerry Van Dyke) who claim to be Santa's elves, a ransom demand, a mother's love, a million-dollar lottery ticket, pursuing cops, a would-be Santa and his reindeer, Roy Rogers-like heroics and, of course, the route to Grandma's house. Sound like fun? It's more than that. It's a ho-ho-ho-lot of fun!
