I primarily bought this to play my MP3 and CD's in the bedroom. I'm pleasantly suprised with the sound quality and ease of use. The blue lighting of the clock numbers provides a nice soft light vs. my old clock with harsh red numbers. The large numbers and the heigth of the unit make it easy to see the time in the middle of the night. It has a nice, modern look.
